Carmenere del Valle de Curicó. El 70% envejeció en barricas de roble francés durante 12 meses y el 30% restante en estanques de acero inoxidable. De color rojo rubí y tonos violáceos. Sabores frutales acompañados de notas especiadas y herbáceas, todo en armonía con la madera que aporta sutiles notas ahumadas y de vainilla.
De cuerpo medio, taninos suaves y final largo.

WINEMAKING
SELECTED GRAPES WERE DESTEMMED AND CRUSHED, THEN, INTO THE TANK, THEY UNDERWENT A 4 DAYS OF PRE-FERMENTATION COLD SOAK AT 10oC FOR COLOR AND AROMAS EXTRACTION. ALCOHOLIC FERMENTATION OCCURS IN STAINLESS STEEL TANKS AT 23-26oC WITH SELECTED YEASTS AND LIGHTS PUMP OVERS EVERY DAY IN ORDER TO EXTRACT SMOOTHS TANINS AND TAKE ALL THE FRUITINESS FROM GRAPES, LATER, THE WINE SPENT 8 DAYS ON HIS SKINS FOR A POST-FERMENTATION MACERATION. MALOLACTIC FERMENTATION NATURALLY OCCURRED IN STAINLESS STEEL TANKS.

AGING
70% OF THE WINE WAS AGED IN FRENCH BARRELS DURING 12 MONTH, AND THE REST STAYED ON HIS LEES IN STAINLESS STEEL TANKS TO CONTRIBUTE FRESHNESS AND FRUIT FLAVOURS.
